Stitch & Social: Open Quilting Night
Bring your project and enjoy an evening of quilting and community at Dayton Quilt Company.
Stitch & Social is an open workspace time for quilters who want to make progress on a project, meet other quilters, exchange ideas, and enjoy creating together. Participants work independently at their own pace while sharing the experience with a welcoming group.
Open Quilting Night is not a formal class. Limited informal assistance may be available, but participants should bring a project they are prepared to work on independently.
Event Details
Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Cost: $10 per person
Registration: Advance registration is recommended because workspace is limited.
What to Bring
Bring your current quilting, sewing, embroidery, or handwork project. Participants using a sewing machine should bring their machine, power cord, foot pedal, thread, tools, and project supplies.
Dayton Quilt Company will provide workspace and access to designated cutting and pressing areas.
Come make progress, share ideas, learn from other quilters, and enjoy a relaxing evening of creativity and conversation.

| Instructor Bio: | Amy Cox’s love of quilting began many years ago, gathered around fabric, patterns, and sewing machines with her aunts and other family members. Through those shared experiences, she discovered that quilting is about much more than creating something beautiful—it is also about connection, creativity, laughter, and time spent learning from one another. Amy is excited to bring that same sense of camaraderie and passion to every class she teaches at Dayton Quilt Company. She strives to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where quilters of all skill levels can learn new techniques, build confidence, share ideas, and enjoy the experience of creating together. |
